EPS Scheme Certificate
Dear Members , i am now into my 21st year of contribution to EPF and EPS. My first 8 years of PF was with Mumbai EPF and then My Company had moved my PF from Mumbai to Hyderabad (due to their operational reasons). The EPF portion was transferred to my new PF account . Now on EPS - Can you please guide me on how to get a scheme certificate for the period up to 2008 which is before UAN came into effect. I am looking at obtaining a Scheme certificate for the PF period in Mumbai - so i can maintain the continuity of the years in service for EPS . more

If you check claim status in EPF passbook site, it will show that service is transferred to new EPF account. I am unable to login to UAN website now, but you can see the service history there more

you were on target. There is a service history in UAN and it reflects the service history. Thanks for pointing there . more

In your passbook only years of service will be transferred from MH office to Hyd office, however UAN will remain the same. more

EPS will also be transferred at the time of PF transfer, but it will not be shown in the passbook. They will have records of service history and EPS in the new PF account. One can only withdraw EPS component only if the total service is less than 10 years. Otherwise it can only be withdrawn at the time of retirement. This is what I understand. Not sure if it is accurate. Others can clarify more

Thanks. Could there any alternate way to find out if the service history is updated in the UAN /current PF account more
