Once contribution stopped interest will be paid for three years after that it will be declared as non operating account and no interest will be payable. Recently it is announced that during non contribution period interest will be taxable. more
It is 36 months from the month of last contribution. Thereafter no interest is payable. Interest earned during 36 months period is now taxable as per the latest IT rules more
Understand interest will be payable till withdrawal. However, some time back it is informed that interest accrued on for non contribution period will be liable for Income Tax. Please check with EPFO and share. more
U keep getting interest as long as u keep money & a/c is not closed. more
