This will be one of the biggest source of revenue. As T V will be there in almost all the Homes and in some 2 or 3. more
This is nothing but fooling all customers by saying that Customer is King, and will have to pay only for Channels, which he wish to see. but cable operator ( Hathway) does not have the answer to my question that, if am taking lesser channels than what we used to see earlier, how come my monthly cable charges are going skyrocketing. As of now many channels are not accessible. But still they are charging full monthly charges. This is an organised loot by cable operators and Govt. Trai should re-look into the tariff, and ensure that monthly outgo for any customer should exceed his earlier bills, if currently, he is taking lesser channels of his choice. more
This is an organized loot perpetuated with the connivance of the the govt. more
Don't expect any benefit at this moment, one should feel happy to have the services for the amount paid to DTH service providers. We are not even getting it, half of the channels are no way of choice. Is this not an organised loot of few thousand crores per month? what the competent authority says? more
A bunch of incompetent people manning TRAI have displayed their uttered disregards towards the interests of the common people, who are forced to shell out more than double of their spending previously for far better entertainment at home. Surprisingly, the concerned ministry had been in deep sleep and unable to realise the amount of resentment accumulating in the consumers' feeling ,which is suppose to outburst in the ballot papers of the ensuing Parliamentary elections. How this burning issue had slipped the attention of the Prime Minister till now should be a matter of concern for him and his party. However, it is not too late yet and the order of the TRAI could be immediately overrulled and reversed to the earlier system as an effort of "damage control". Late is better than never. The PM should immediately step in. more
