D.S Research

D.S research is an organization that claims to treat cancer patients through Ayurvedic medicines. If anyone or their family member has been treated by them, kindly share your experience. Vice-versa if its an organization that must be avoided, please share those inputs as well. They have centers in Varanasi, Hyderabad, Guwahati, Bangalore and Kolkata.

You may also share the same with other local circles, whatsapp groups.

Thanks in advance! more

We learnt of D.S.Research while my wife was undergoing her chemo at BLK in Delhi. It did help in mitigating the side effects of chemo. She kept taking it for about two and half years very diligently. Let me tell you that it did NOT control her cancer, it returned now in her bones twice for which she had to undergo SBRT radiation and change of hormonal therapy every time. In spite of sharing her reports with them, there was no further change of medication. So, we eventually stopped D.S.R medicines. At least if they could control or stabilise in one condition and not allow it to spread to other parts, I would then agree with Shrinivas Datar . more
One of our relative suffering from Kidney and finally lungs cancer used DS research medicine for some time, it worked well for initial period but collapsed after that. It may be helpful in initial stages along with conventional treatment, may not work after certain stage. more
I am aware of D.S. Research that has been in this business of alternate medicine (essentially aurvedic) for more than two decades. My first hand knowledge of them does not lead anywhere regarding their efficacy as two patients of lung cancer pursuing the treatment from D.S. Research, after conventional oncology treatment involving chemotherapy and radiation therapy in reputed hospitals like Tata & Appollo were found to be almost ineffective, passed away during the course of treatment. However they were tried with the knowledge of the Oncologists who were non-committal about D.S. as expected but did not spell out anything adverse about them. No harm (except for being not being cheap) in trying them when all others fail or otherwise follow parallely. more
