Abbott (makers of digene gel) have recalled digene gels of all flavours (mint, orange, mix fruit), manufactured at Goa facility, after a compaint was received regarding change in its colour and taste (by a consumer).
Therefore, patients should discontinue digene gel manufactured at Goa facility.

The culprits are refined oils especially Palm cottonseed canola/rapeseed corn as these refined oils have more harmful chemicals and also artificial colors and transfats and chemicals that cannot be digested. Like Cheese in all pizza joints. It is not real cheese it is a powder mixed with oil. That is why we get acidity when we eat in restaurant cause they use chemicals and also use MSG/ajinomoto that will cause stomach uclers. Acidity is basically you are eating chemicals or adulterated food that your body cannot digest. So your boyd will produce acid in your stomach to digest the food which is enough to digest the food so it is liquid enough to pass into the intesting. Now when the food does not pass because it is not digested the stomach will just keep producing more acid and it will overflow and create acid reflux. Digene is alkaline and so are remedies like ENO or Bakingsoda they will neutralize the acid. Same with milk or chaas it just nuetrlized the acid and creates a toxic sludge.
