Do not put money in Pay TM wallet

Unless you want your money stuck. My mother has money in her wallet that she can’t use. It wont let her use money without doing KYC and it wont do KYC because RBI has put a ban.

It says alternatively link your bank account to the wallet transfer more money and then use it. I mean are you nuts. Why would I want to risk my bank account linking if you dont even let me use my own funds. Feel stuck. more

PayTM is now demanding Rs.5,000/- as annual fees. I have received a message to that effect. However, I never put any money in my wallet with them. more
You will find that even without KYC there are some payments you can still pay - tell someone to whatsapp you their Payment Link - scan that link and if they have their KYC done then you can transfer that money out of your wallet into that - That worked for me for at least withdrawing all my money put in my wallet after which I dont put in any more more
Such incidences are perhaps not very uncommon. People must take good lessons and always should inspect the system & practice deeply instead of inclining toadopt such system in hurry. We are yet to have full maturity to execute such transaction practices very honestly. The company faces a huge crisis of money, fail to understand, how one can have a belief on such institution? more
Duped d by PayTM with Rs 5000/- never been returned a single rupee more
