Yes, of course you can eat all vegetables and fruits. Try to take more watery vegetables in your diet. Jaggery you can take in limited quantities in place of sugar more  
Bhendi or Okra, drumsticks and its leaves, sweet potato, dals and pulses of all kinds, diabetic oil for cooking, diabetic rice and diabetic wheat atta is good for you. Oranges and apples can be taken too. Popcorn, jambul chips, jambul juice, jambul powder very good. Cinnamon and a little methi seeds, and all vegetables are good except for starchy ones like potatoes. more  
Avoid jaggery. Pomgranates rank high for sugar content among fruits but they have a lot of other beneficial qualities such as antioxidants ... small quantities of pomegranate arils as a snack or on top of salads etc. are OK to eat given the benefits. Carrots are ok to eat and beneficial ... their sugar content is low despite their sweet taste. more  
mr rajeev i heard jaggery is good as a substitute to sugar, pls correct me if i m wrong more  
reversal is impossible but yes,early stage diabetes can b controlled,check HbAIC ,CONSULT DR more
