Diabetes at the initial stage.

I am 66 years old having no medical complaint of any kind. Recently, when I was to be operated upon for cataract eye surgery, my blood sugar level was want to be 250 and I was promptly declared to be a diabetic. I had to bring down the sugar level to almost 120/130 with medicines. After the surgery about a week back, I have discontinued the medicines and my current blood sugar level hovers around 150. Can some of my friends suggest me some Ayurvedic remedy for keeping the blood sugar level under control? Thanks in anticipation. more
