Despite vaccine Covid 19 will be a challenge

Until governments recognise:

i) aerosol transmission
ii) LongCovid
iii) vaccines are only part of the solution
iv) children contribute to transmission
v) supported isolation is essential
vi) inequality is a risk factor

COVID19 will continue to be a serious challenge. more

Age old maxim:PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN CURE. In the contemporary situation PREVENTION is not only the best, but also the only "established" mode. more
We have already discussed about Social Vaccination as the safe mode to avoid getting infected.I is not possible all the time by all the people in a populous country.Say atleast 35 to 40 % observe this by following the protocols strictly and adopt to, The next supportive is Physical Vaccination. *By Vaccinating the priority 2 segments of Population (Health workers & front line workers),nation will be guaranteed of availability of these 2 segment of worlkers , the most important to treat and contain the Virus. * these segments will not get infected and will not transmit the disease to their families. *then slowly start vaccination on the other segments of population to cover up at least 50% in the first year. Then by next year we should be able to drive out Covid 19 from India, provided newer strains are not flown in. more
Are these observations based on some scientific investigations or some thoughts? Is there any way out to avoid vaccination without getting exposed to the virus? Raising such issues may give rise to more suspicion against the vaccine among the masses and they may avoid getting the vaccine. more
No.the author is trying to scare the public in general.Read the points given which government need to take action. "Children contribute to transmissiom".Is she suggesting all the children should be quarantined separately or don't produce children? more
