Demand Footpaths in Hyderabad
There are no proper footpaths in Hyderabad. Even if there are, they are encroached upon by shops and hawkers. For example, in S.R. Nagar and Vengal Rao Nagar, most of the footpaths are not visible at all. They have been occupied by fruit vendors, flower sellers, small hotels etc. This has rendered life difficult for pedestrians (especially, senior citizens) who are forced to walk on the roads facing danger from speeding vehicles. In Vengal Rao Nagar, one can see scooterists and motorcycle riders speedily driving on the wrong side. Even though the police vans keep patrolling regularly, seldom do they act on violators.
I plead with authorities (GHMC and Police) to take immediate steps to clear the footpaths and help pedestrians. more

In GHMC, which department is responsible to look in to the matter of Small illegal shops removal on road corner and on foot path area ? more

it is very pathetic for the miseries of the people . this is the bane of elected society who are paid without any works. our drivers who may not qualify for any national/international races feels the narrow foot paths are the real race grounds for all and sundry. even when the place dedicated for selling the mercandise still people clamour for foot path selling occupying and incoveniencing the poor pedestrians. the callous attitude of the responsible persons employed will show their presence once in blue moon day to place and make their presence felt. is this the education that is imbibed by them for the society, off the society, and for their self-sadbhavana On Sat, Mar 4, 2017 at 9:04 AM, Mohan Krishna wrote: > more

Similar problem persist all over India. The roads are expanded but no steps were taken for proper parking and all vehicles are being parked in front of offices/ banks/ shops. there should be a ban to operate shop/bank/ office without proper parking inside their establishments or the municipality concerned should provide parking complexes and insist on using the same.... more

No use cursing politicians. They were elected by us. Next time see that you vote the right type of politician, if necessary make one of your own honest, non corrupt individual tio contest and help him win. An improved system will only solve such problems. more

IT IS THE MORAL RESPONSIBILITY OF THE POLITICIANS WHO GOVERN THE GOVERNMENT TO PROVIDE THE PUBLIC FACILITIES. IN INDIA IT IS NOT THERE IN THE RECENT YEARS, AS SELFISHNESS IS MORE, FOR EXAMPLE EVEN IN FRONT OF THE MINISTER HOUSE IF THE ROAD IS DAMAGED, HE WILL EXPECT SOMETHING FROM THE CONTRACTOR FOR SANCTION OF THAT CONTRACT. IT IS NOT ONE MAN JOB. THE VOICE HAS TO COME LIKE A OCEAN ROAR, WHERE ALL THIS SELFISH POLITICIANS WILL RUN OUT OF THE COUNTRIES. FOR EXAMPLES HOW MANY ROADS HAVE TRAFFIC STOP MARKINGS, ROAD CROSSINGS MARKING, NO WHY THEY ARE NOT BOTHERED, BECAUSE THEY SAY THERE IS NO ASKING VOICE FROM THE PUBLIC.
