DMRC run delhi metro have now frequent problems especially in the crowded dwarka sector in Blue Line. Trains get stuck in the middle of track and AC ducts switched off during this period.This leads to lack of oxygen in heavily packed coaches.I had an occasion to go through this hellish nightmare and found old people breathing heavily and sweating. It will not take much time for people to get asphyxiated and become unconscious leading to brain damage due to lack of oxygen.
Will DMRC find a way out to fix their technical snags on the Blue line?
And till that time regulate crowd in such a way that they fix maximum number of people that a coach can carry.
Making profit is the DMRC 's commercial right , but it should not be at the cost of life and health of citizens. Now any any number of people can crowd in a coach . This should be regulated. more

What I feel that due to heavy schedule of metro and lack of maintainace staff responsibility frequently creating snag in system ,the correct steps are to be taken like in off hours maitance staff to check regularly to put cardon on such problems .the metro rail authority to be asked to.pull up their shocks and made responsible . more

I can not comment. Have no knowledge of Metro. As a general observation we do not devote funds, time , and training on maintenance. more

This experience is becoming more frequent for the Metro commuters. What I feel is that professional standards of the personnel have been falling for the last about 2 years and the same need to be revisited by the management level team of professional. It is advisable to go in for performance audit of Metro Trains operations. more

With such over crowded metro train on almost all routs, before making any comment on the cheap or costly fares let CAG should do the audit and give their recommendations. Rightly said now the safety level and conditions of the roads, wherever construction on new projects is taking place is extremely poor. Well frequent breakdown is the result of poor maintenance. Yes, leadership, one cannot compare with Shri Shridharan, but the worst thing these people who have been groomed under his leadership shows very poor on those juniors. more

Now a days commenting on ones ability has become a fashion. The volume. of work load on present system has increased. DMRC has to connect Dwarka with Gurgaon line with shortest possible rout, then only crowd can be decreased.Apart from that there should be connection between Dwarka sect-10 or 11 with Dabri-- basantkunj line which will decrease the passenger load. Apart from that Metro fare has not increased for the last 9 yrs, causing cheap metro and increased ridership, where as Buses are running empty,financial loss to DMRC, However, due to age of DMRC it require more maintenance to tackle the problem more
