Delhi air quality survey every where
Our LC survey which was done this week is on TV channels and in newspapers and on news apps. It indicates 75% households have someone who is impacted by pollution.

though this year i guess pollution is less still people are having problems.
does that mean capacity of Delhiites to handle toxic air has gone down after 10-12 years of exposure ? more

Useless administrations the ones before and the current one: it weather good and pollution less they want credit. If pollution prevails, they go in hiding. more

Delhi air polution is a parrenial problem for more than a decade due to inaction by agencies and govt. What I mean is effective action for long term solution. When above a limit one feels it in throat, eyes, breathing, etc. Only cosmetic actions to control it are taken by govt. It has become a tool to win votes. Vehicle polution is the main cause for year round polution level. Other big reason is burning of waste & trash and trash dump mountains. Fireworks only produce a major spike during Diwali. But stubble burning adds to base line for many winter days. We have no regulations to control PM 2.5 and PM 10 being added to air from construction activity round the year in and around Delhi. There are other polutions, that are equally important for our society's good health and quality of living. These are water and noise polutions. more
