Daughter frequently getting cough

Hi All,
I have a 4 year old daughter who is really getting throat infections very very regaularly. It starts out with a sore throat then cough and then into cold, I even had to get her nubilise last month so she could be okay but even before her medication could stop she has sore throat again. I really don't want to continue giving her allopathic medicines. Can some one please suggest a good homeopathic doctor or a solution for the problem. more

This looks like recurrent Upper respiratory tract infection which gets settled in the bronchi....the kids normally have great immunity however looks some allergen is causing the trouble again and again. I suggest you meet with a qualified homoeopath who understands the importance of diagnosis and is well versed with the scientific way of homoeopathic treatment...this is an easily curable condition so donot worry.....
Thanks

The main issue to be addressed in her case seems to be to increase her immunity which can be done with Homoeopathic medicines. Also changes in diet - increase intake of citrus fruits/ vitamin C ; lots of fruits and vegetables and avoiding artificially flavoured and coloured food like gems, maggi, jams, soft drinks, etc. is essential. more
I was told by some body that Amla juice should not be taken by those having sinus problems. Can anyone confirm this or is it just unqualified statement? more
Please give her Septilin syrup from Himalayan Herbal Care. Continue for atleast 3 months. It builds up resistance to infection and helps prevent re-infection. Also give her Sitopaladi Churna (from Jhandu preferably) mixed with Honey twice a day for 10-15 days. If she has dry cough add 2 drops of Desi Ghee in this mixture. Sitopaladi Churna itself is tasteless and easily taken by children. Both are tried and tested medicines (initially recommended by a MD Dr for my children. more
