Date of birth correction

When I downloaded my EPF pass book, found my date of birth written wrongly, I informed my HR, in turn HR applied to Kolkata EPFO office for correction of the same same with covering letter and date of birth proof. Till now no action taken by EPFO dept, (I have the receipt copy of the same letter duly received by EPFO dept). Now I have changed the company, I have to give them my UAN, please suggest what to do next. (I also mailed to EPFO with earlier reference, but got no reply from them)

Please send reminder letter to EPFO and past Employer simultaneously, if no answer is received within 15 days or 1 month, go to grievance cell of EPFO website and send all earlier communication with scan copy. I think it will be clear. more

Since you have acknowledgement receipt, it is the bounded duty of the PF Office to take further appropriate step. Provide a copy of the receipt to the new employer for their information and records so that they can also correspond with PF Office. more
