Damji shyamji builder - project at mulund west (redevelopment)

I am writing this message to understand how to safe guard ourselves. This builder took a project to do redevelopment and post demolishing the buildings and registration of the property he now is pushing all the owners that as the project is not feasable he will be reducing the flat area. He has spoken to the flat owners and yet not given anything in writing. Also he is saying if one does not agree he will keep the project pending indefinitely... Plz guide more

Government is supposed to frame guidelines to protect the consumers, when builders are permitted to undertake large quantity of public work. more
In the eagerness to get flats many of us overlook legal aspects while booking our flats. Also the builders/ developers talk so sweetly in the beginning and show their true colors after getting money. If before building he gives so much headache what he is capable during construction or before handing over flats. I think hecan be dragged to consumer Forum, if all prospective buyers join together as association more
