CVC - Analysis of Top 100 bank frauds
CVC has analysed top 100 bank frauds and attached has report by sector. 13 areas have been analysed— gems and jewellery, manufacturing and industry, agro, media, aviation, service and project, discounting of cheques, trading, information technology, export business, fixed deposits, demand loans, and letters of comfort.
Private banks must also be investigated as we all saw what ICICI CEO has been charged with. Other arrangements must be getting done at local levels.

I think our system does not take economic offence seriously.That is why so many frauds and scams are taking place.Even culprits are not being punished for years together. This needs a relook to change the system including laws related to this. more

Even punishments on Election Offences are dressed with exemptions and minute punishments. This has given raise to many opt Fiscal offences under quid Pro-quo and share between authorities and rulers too . Punishment sections of IPC need to be modified in terms of increased volume of losses and cost of living when compared to at least a century back. more

Go to any Govt. run bank! The Bank Manager would be found busy with his 'Valued Customers/VIP Customers, etc.' with hot and/or cold drinks, etc. and may not offer you a seat even - may (literally) turn you out. What it boils down to ? They are pickpocketing you (directly- giving lesser interest, as also indirectly obtaining money from the Govt. in the name of high sounding jargons - like 'capital infusion ', 'debt restructuring', etc.) and paying their highest esteem to some frauds. more
