All failing miserably to address the terrible pollution of Delhi. See attached 999 AQI in parts of Delhi.
It is such a shame no one no one is bothered other than a few of us here.
The entire model of governance must change where parameters (clean air, water, safety) must be defined by citizens and if they deteriorate beyond a certain level, people responsible start facing salary cuts.
Unless accountability is fixed, we will keep facing this year after year. more

Delhi as present since long time ago is NOT A STATE . It started going into a MESS just after elected bodies came into being from top to bottom. A shame THE PRESIDENT OF INDIA, THE PM, and so on live here. Its concept,governance, MUST CHANGE. I remember what a lovely place it was. more

NGT, CPCB and other agencies should be Fined Heavily. I saw Supreme Court admonishing and sharing its opinion that Delhi is not good for Living. So why not wind up everything? When the Court also can only grumble and doesn't have the guts to take action, what can be expected of a Common Man? Every Government Agencies under Center is ready to jump the gun to discredit the popularly elected Delhi Government. NGT went to the extent of levying Fine of 2 Crores payable from Salaries of MLA's... shouldn't they also be punished for their own dereliction? Another angle in this is the opportunity some corporate seized: Kent, Eureka Forbes and several others exploited the situation to market their Air Purifiers (which incidentally is costlier than the R.O.Water Purifiers). Probably they might have donated to political parties to buy their silence. more

You're absolutely right ... With great power comes great responsibility ... and with responsibility one must also have a person responsible who must be penalised if the same is not met. more
