Covaxin Loot

If it was indeed possible to sell Coxain at Rs.225, was the made-in-India vaccine ripping us off all this while charging Rs.1400.

Instead of being given Padma awards, shouldn’t they be booked by authorities.

Or is this being done because WHO found problems with Covaxin manufacturing practices?? more

What about other medicines the companies selling at much higher rates. Why to roar only for Covaxin. People of India were asking for some foreign vaccines that were much higher in value. The Government has already provided two doses of Vaccines free of cost to every citizen of India. Why do we expect once again a free dose from the Government ?? why are getting habitual of free free free ?? what are giving to our Government ?? Even we don't pay our taxes honestly and on time. How does the Government is managing everything, Have you ever thought. Everyone wants everything free free free. Though, The price should be reasonable, but we should fight for each and every medicine that these pharma companies are selling at much higher rates than their counterpart available at much cheaper rates. I agree that the price of covaxin should be reasonable, not so high, But it should not be free anymore. more
Reminds me of the story of the ship repair man. A giant ship engine failed. They were incurring heavy losses every day and were willing to pay through their nose to fix the issue. The ship’s owners tried one expert after another, but none of them could figure but how to fix the engine. Then they brought in an old man who had been fixing ships since he was a young. He carried a large bag of tools with him, and when he arrived, he immediately went to work. He inspected the engine very carefully, top to bottom. After looking things over, the old man reached into his bag and pulled out a small hammer. He gently tapped something. Instantly, the engine lurched into life. He carefully put his hammer away. The engine was fixed! A week later, the owners received a bill from the old man for ten thousand dollars. “What?!” the owners exclaimed. “He hardly did anything!” So they wrote the old man a note saying, “Please send us an itemized bill. The man sent a bill that read: Tapping with a hammer………………….. $ 2.00 Knowing where to tap…………………….. $ 9,998.00 Two things one can learn from this story: 1. Effort is important, but knowing where to make an effort makes all the difference! 2. In crisis, people will make tall promises, only till they are saved. then they will question everything. more
Please don't undermine or ridicule the contribution of Bharat Biotech in India's fight against COVID with such mindless assessments. more
Why can't the government allow the government to give booster vaccine door to door as was being done by Rourkela and Berhampur ADM in Odisha for the senior citizens and the sick. more
