corruption in UP
"IT" should be used extensively to lodge the complaints. Till today, not even 10% of work has been done in this direction. I am surprised that so many work has been done through IT in other field , but the genuine willingness in this subject to expose the corrupt officials have not been initiated. Each state government & central govt. must have a portal to lodge the complaint anonymously, in order to protect the identification of the whistle blower. Till today, there is a heavy corruption in UP police and the sub Registrar, Meerut division. We do not know, how to lodge the complaint, without getting exposed to these Bahu bali. They will immediately take the revenge, if they come to know the complainant. more

There is no CVO or any vigilance officer monitoring this site. This is of no use to discuss. No law enforcement authority. Better to login at www.cvc.nic.in and submit your complaints. This may help to curb corruption. more

We all must continue our fight against corruption. Sub-Registrar office/Noida Authority specially encroachment dept / RTO office/Medical services/ Police require accountability. More work needs to be put on online for public. more

One way is to narrate personal experience in the public domain with anonymity so that the methodology at least gets exposed. more

It is necessary that our officials and staff become sincere in their work. But as long as positions are filled up, not on basis of competence, but on basis of caste / creed/ so-called backwardness, it is highly unlikely that we would have competent people manning all the public convenience jobs. Further, it is many many years since corruption has been the most important aspect in longing for a Government job. Since until recently the Government of UP and of many other states has been very corrupt, we should not expect that the officials in these states would become honest simply because there is now an honest government in place..... It is bound to take a few years before the evil of corruption is weeded out. more

I think it is a wishful thinking that in a few years the evil of corruption will get weeded out. The system has become such that eradication of corruption breeds inefficiency by virtue of a passive system called 'work to rule' where all forms of explanations and noting will be found hindering actual physical output causing lack of development and a tarnished image of the ruling government. Unless accountability is injected the public service looks like charitable service. The accountability rules are to be created by the same who distaste it. A vicious cycle. more

It is true as you highlighted, I appreciate your idea, Since our honest PM many times quoted in speech that government alone can do all the good changes without public support. Although people want to involve/support themself to honest government but it is fact that some bueurocrate/corrupt politician don't. It will be better for both if they provide on-line option to make and upload proof and it should be linked with media also for fast action after verification. I hope , this will trend to make it possible for betterment. more

i support this view ,but our political & administrative officers need true willingness in this direction rather postponing their responsibilities.Govt to support these sectors to equip them with sufficient manpower and equipments. more
