Corruption in Government Hospitals - Inputs
If any of you have observed any instances of corruption in Delhi Government hospitals, please share details. This may be related to purchase of supplies/equipment by hospitals, servicing patients, insurance, billing, selling complimentary medicines or anything else.

Yes, I do agree with Mr. Narayana Balachandran Ji that transparency in the public domain is a continuous process and effort. Newer technologies enhance the potential for more transparency and productivities - the government directing the procurement, prescription and distribution of generic medicines is a step in this direction. Accreditation of hospital with the Accreditation authority is another step - this is something that started several years ago, one or two hospitals in delhi secured this, but not all - this should be expedited and made permanent. Securing timely, and adequate qualified and trained manpower is yet another essential prerequisite to provide better healthcare. There are several methods and steps, and govt does make effort to improve the quality of service. Yes public spirited citizens, whether politician, bureaucrat or aam admi all have to be constantly vigilant to make better systems operational more

As per my previous mail regarding hospitals harassment is and corruption levels are very high & unimaginable.My experience of different kind is not the recent one,but years old(Before AAP birth).It can only use for a high level investigation or spy checking by Government to stop such activities in future for further improvements hospitals.Any how I can't reveal it in a public because of seriousness and social reasons. So if the minister or any confidential and believable person can only get those history from me.(They are with proofs of supporting documents.) A P Madhusudanan. more

Previously people were taking bribe which was visible and it can be taken photo. Now system has been made corrupt. You hire 100 person on contact and supply say 50 then how you will count. You need another management and sometime they found some weakness and they will get benefited This way , how many management will be required? more

Not only transparency, everything starts from the top. Culture in any organisation starts from the top only. more
