Coronil as Covid medicine

The Ayush ministry of India has approved Coronil of Patanjali as treatment for Covid and to me this is very interesting.

Attached is the research that Ramdevs people have submitted. Can the experts in this circle or other circles help all understand it.

Has this been done on merit or were there other reasons for the approval?? more

Unless the Patajali's coronil is really proved to be effective remedy for curing Covid-19, approval of Ayush Ministry has no relevance as far as Covid patients are concerned . more
I have been asking Ayush people to conduct randomized controlled trial of their regimen so that it becomes more acceptable. Now at least a beginning is made. In this case, though, it seems the trial was done on RT-PCR positives with no or mild symptoms. Thus the results are not applicable to the others with moderate or serious disease. more
why question Indian medicine which is more than 12000 years old science, started by charakrishi, well defined and tested in charak samhita . why bharatwasis dont want to read their own shatras , vedas, upnishads , when germany has 14 sanskrit university teaching Hindu science and technology, when USA and Europe have started teaching Sanskrit in schools and made it compulsory. why question Our culture our science our medicine again and again and ....., For info of everyone here homeopathy medicines have originated from ayurveda , they all are actually very very refined and filtered form of khadas or fermented herbs reached by German scientist who believed in Ayurveda more
I absolutely agree with Mr. SN Gupta's comments. The technical approvals and the wording of claims are on one hand but on the other hand is the indisputable ancient science of Ayurveda ... Practiced and tried and tested for more than 5000 years. The power of these holistic and synergetically working phytonutrients and phytomedicines have now been validated by modern scientific research and internationally acclaimed. These herbs/super spices/plant foods /etc that we imbibe give our immunity the boost required to fight disease. If used alongside other appropriate healthy lifestyle practices ( and also yoga pranayama etc )these precious time treasured Ayurvedic remedies can help in healing and strengthening the human body. One of the reasons why India came out less scathed than other countries could well be attributed to the fact that our population consumes on a daily basis food and beverage that contains turmeric/ginger/garlic/cayenne/tulsi/amla/tea etc. Ofcourse along with other measures like lockdown/masking etc. more
Ayurved ,Prananayam & Yog is more than 5000 years old Sanatan therapy but we don't recognize it. Further it is pertinent to mention here that Ayurvedic Medicines have no side effects & each and every Allopathic medicine have side effects ,if you read literature enclosed in Allopathic medicine box one will never consume it but in spite of this all such medicines are being consumed. In present Covid Pandemic there is no treatment in Allopathy only Hit & trial is going on with no results. In view of above once Ayush has approved we should respect Ayurved and promote it instead of criticizing. Please note that Swami Ramdev & Acharya Balkrishan are not related to me but I myself has experienced positive response of Ayurved ,Prananayam & Yog . more
