Consumer Affairs Ministry

The ministry of consumer affairs should really get going and engaged their various nodes across the country to listen to peoples problems and address them. If 10000 people have grievance against a particular organisation, why would the ministry not take action.

What will it take for PM and GOI to expand the charter of this ministry to solving peoples problems? Also what would it take to bring parts of Consumer Courts online.

So that each and every Judgement will be a Scandal - if Exposed also - which can be Probed by appointment of a Committee - which itself is a big scam. more
"ministry to solving peoples problems? " is NOT the solution, it will boost the Corruption which is already to its pick, as the Judiciary power if entrusted to the Babus, will rotten the system from bad to worst. It is the same system which desire that the judiciary - which is Independent by Constitution - to be under their Control. more
As of now, the ministry of consumer affairs is apparently, in nexus with companies engaged in making the consumers fool which makes them indifferent in taking effective steps to protect the interests of the consumers. Majority of indian consumers are also not fully aware of their rights to get a better deal & treatment from these business houses nor they evince any interest to compel them the companies) to ensure consumers' interest on first place. Under such a situation no one can help us. more
