Yes, Mr. Sharma. That's the point. Article 19 being very valid, insofar as dissemination of information and ideas through any media being a right bestowed therein. Rights guaranteed by constitution must be respected within the nation representing a participative and representative democracy. Against these statutes, however, government freely invokes the sedition law. Take the case on merits. Period. Have faith in democracy doing the rest. more

Power corrupts. No use continuing with discussing Congress' follies. This government too has gotten almost 7 years in rule along with advantage of near total power when they used National Disaster Management Act provisions for gaining more power, during the lockdown. Lockdown saw the farm laws being passed through ordinance route. Government has therefore gotten benefits, while even doing good work, whether digitisation or flagship schemes as Ujjwala, along with several measures like Jan Dhan accounts linked with mobile phones. Slowing economy and growing corona virus cases make them accountable too. Therefore, circumspection would be better advised while crediting government. Especially when they enjoy majority power. Power earned, yes, but needing continuous check. more
