Complaint of Custom Staff posted in AP MumbainPune

I am a diabetic ,n my medicine were dispatched by my son through courier from Pune to Edison USA but the medicine is not delivered in USA ,two months passed,on enquirer from the courier company at Pune ,he simply said that medicines are held up by Custom officer either at Pune or Mumbai Airport reason not informed.
Here I would like to add that courier company has taken the medicine to be supplied in USA after compliting All formalities.
I am unable to under stand the such irresponsible attitude by Custom Department ,playing with life saving drugs.
The medicines r still with Custom Dep. neither they r sending USA. nor returning to courier service at Pune.
Is there any body who can help me in getting medicines . more

USA is very strict about import of drugs. The only way you can import medicines from India is to carry them with you personally along with doctor's prescription. I and my wife do it whenever we visit USA. more

Whether the courier waybill document has been attached with xerox copy of I.D. Proof of the person sending the courier and to check up whether the prescribed medicine has not been banned in the destination. more

Send a complaint to Hon PM on his website. They will come running to US and deliver the same. But you should have all the details and documents while submitting the complaint more

Pl. lodge a complaint with all details to Member (Customs), CBEC, North Block, New Delhi-110011 for redressal. more

Customs Dept is corrupt to the core. Uncooperative, insensitive and arrogant. They can be found drunk at the airport. When ever complaint are made they are shielded by their seniors and make the complainant run from piller to post, thus one regrets as to why did I lodge a complaint. more
