Latest data shows India's GDP growth will surpass China in 2 years more
1)From the point of view of International Relations, with Communist China, it would be worthwhile to mention that as soon as the Chinese Premier came to know about India's plans to compete with China,in the manufacturing sector, he really panicked and ordered the Chinese armed Forces to be on high alert (according to daily newspapers) , a few months ago. Now, China wants to retaliate by helping Pakistan with $ 25 Billion !!! So, it would be much wiser not to go about shouting "Make in India" to the whole world . Come to terms with our neighbour and agree to manufacture mainly non-polluting products and Aircrafts presently not being made in China. Already, the Chinese factories are decreasing their manufacture, due to global factors. So, it would be financially prudent to assess the global impact of Indian industry , trying to compete with the Chinese industrial sector. 2)Our Hon'ble Finance Minister had recently justified enactment of the Land acquisition Bill , which has become the Big Stick of the Congress to beat the BJP, claiming it is anti-farmer bill. Our FM also mentioned about acquiring land for "Industrial Corridors" eg. Hyderabad - Bangalore corridor. Such industrialisation is immediately required for the employment of lakhs of unemployed labour, he quipped. In various civilized countries, the problem of whether or not to acquire agricultural land , for Real Estate or Industry, has led to Underground Cities and other vital installations under Desert areas eg.Las Vegas in the USA depends entirely on Solar Powered panels spread over the dsert areas (called Solar One and Two). So, instead of sticking to acquiring the declining fertile agricultural lands, the BJP govt. better concentrate on the example shown by Shri Modi when he was CM of Gujarat. Industries were allowed only on non-cultivable land and not by grabbing it from the cultivators. Giving "huge" compensation to farmers or promising employment to labourers is not the alternative. The govt. must not repeat what happened in Singur, West Bengal. 20 or 30 Metres underground is no man's land. No ned to give anyone any compensation either. Better pacify these cultivators before the Congress and the UPA allies makes it an Election issue.First give preference only to non-cultivable land for setting up industries. Solar powered panels and Wind-mills can be set up anywhere , especially all over the Rann of Kutch , in Gujarat. 3)Artificial Rivers , lakes and canals are the most important projects to be under-taken by the Central Govt. .Instead of building the monumental and very costly statue to commemorate the "Iron Man of India" Sardar Vallabhai Patel, let there be a multi-state project in his name for 1) Diverting Flood waters from the lower regions of the Himalayas and the over-flowing Ganga , to dry desert states like Rajasthan , Uttar Pradesh, Orissa, etc. 2) building over-head and underground canals to supply much-needed water for supply to both Urban and Rural India . Is there any water in the much-acclaimed Indira Gandhi Canal project in Rajasthan ? God knows !! The BJP govt. is functioning like UPA III !!!! more
