Clarification in case of E-Waybill issuance for replacement of unit sold earlier
I need a clarification on E-Waybill issuance under GST. In retail segment, goods once sold to customer is getting replaced due to defect in goods sold earlier. In this scenario, how to raise E-Waybill while sending replacement unit to customer? Please note here that bill raised on say for example, 10th Jul 2018 and Replacement is happening on 15th Aug 2018. Would some one please clarify in this matter? more
Dear Mr Prakash K S, E-Way Bill can be generated by any person registered in GST or not. In case of individual customer not registered in GST he can generate EWB as unregistered person (UR) in case of goods return to you or you can also generate on his behalf. Then at the time of replacment you have to generate your fresh EWB for supply of replacement goods with details of your replacment invoice or chalan as the case may be. more
It seems neeraj's suggestion is correct. If the option is not available, its better to take sales return and do fresh billing by generating new E-way bill. more
