Both Chikunguniya and dengue are mosquito borne viral diseases but caused by different Viruses.essentially different in structure. Both have high fever but in Dengue, there appear rashes which are not found in chikunguniya.And infact in dengue also there is a sudden fall in platelet number and that can be noticed because of unusual bleeding or long clotting time while in Chikunguniya its the joints as well that are affected but no rashes or unusual Bleeding.Along with high fever the joints and especially the finger joints will ache. more
