CLUB MAHENDRA cheating. Be aware.
I am Pradeep Kamat member ID 2551795. I have unutilized holiday balance of 22 days after paying ASF charges till March 2019. I have not been able to utilize my holidays due to non availability of rooms when trying to book 2 months in advance. Yesterday 25 June 2019 when I tried to book resort the system states that I have to pay current year ASF fees to do the bookings. I called customer support and they also confirmed that this is the new rule. This means that even if you had paid maintenance fees for the earned days, you need to pay for current year. This rule is not communicated in writing. This clearly indicates the fraudulent ways of Club Mahindra and all members to be made aware and new joinees to be cautioned about this company. The reason I have given my name and membership number is for authenticity of the post. Please circulate it in all your groups so that cheating by club Mahindra is exposed to all quickly. more

I have given up on them a long time back........I have 4 units, 2 in RED & 2 in White since 1998 & unutilized days exceeding 100.
Firstly they are not at all accountable for the annual maintenance fee which was never ever stated in the contract when I purchased the unit.
Secondly, whenever i tried booking they would say the resort is full especially in popular locations like Goa & Coorg & then on one of my visits while I fought & managed to get a room in Goa, my friends who were also on the vacation with me despite being non-members paid 3000 a day & stayed at the same resort. It was then that I realized they never have rooms because they rent it out to non-members indiscriminately despite having a demand from their own members but we are non paying guest while the non members are paying guests so they prefer those.
Hence have stopped paying the annual fee also which has become ridiculously expensive. Cheaper to stay in a hotel. In fact when I bought the units the contract guaranteed rooms if I asked for my category or Lower (only Purple was higher than RED) at least 21 days prior to the date of stay. However, that contract is now good to be used only as toilet paper......

Realised within one year it is cheating company...they are not letting me sell my hold,,as they want to increase membership...sad sad sad more

I am member for last 12 years. It is not worth the investment. Depending on your class (Pink/Red/etc..), we pay roughly 6000 per day of holiday with CM. At that price, i an sure one can get any good property anywhere in India and anytime!!! Besides this, the restaurants in resorts charge 5* rates for food. There also you are forced to cough up money for food which is not worth the money they charge. If you don't have your own transport, you have no choice but to spend the money eating the food which is not worth the money they charge. So, you are trapped in all ways once you purchase the membership.... What really upsets me is, they have walk ins (non members) while they deny rooms to members. This is very strange. You will not find this issue with many other similar companies. So, bottom line, existing members are trapped. We should make all our friends aware of this and dissuade them from buying CM like memberships. more
