This may be fraud. The aadhar Number Can not get changed once it is alloted. From Birth to date this No. will remain same. The two AADHAR number may get to one person if he produced duplicate false documents to UID Dept. to make another aadhar id. In such Circumstances the persons / peoples are making system fail must punished harsh. no pity . more
I think employer has to entertain your request for change of Aadhar Number since still your fund is with RPFC in relation to such employment. Otherwise you may approach the enforcement wing of RPFC. more
Few things are unclear in your case, 1) What is meant by change in Aadhar number. It never changes except for it's contents like address etc. 2) How you incorporated your aadhar in EPF before 2014 such KYC was not available that time, not even the UAN system. In case you have to incorporate a new aadhar in your non-aadhar EPF, it's easy and no employer interference is required. You can incorporate online in your portal and will be approved directly based on your aadhar data. Directives by EPFO staff is wrong most of the time. 3) In case you left the job in 2014 how you are continuing with your EPF which becomes inactive after 3 years of no deposit. May be matter is not informed. Did you try to incorporate it in your UAN? It is possible that your account has already become in active so no modification. Best option is to apply for withdrawal. Why you are not doing it. As per the law post service EPF interest is taxable in any case. more
How Can Aadhar number changedAny modification in your Aadhaar card will not change your Aadhaar Card number. It will remain the same. However, it will take 10–15 days for the changes to get updated online. But, other than that you don't have to worry about your Aadhaar number getting changed. more
What about people retired earlier to UAN no implemented, prior 2013 June . more
