Cash shortage in Banks

I went to ICICI Bank today in Ahmedabad to withdraw cash for my house hold expenses. But the withdrawal counter was closed and on enquiring they said they have run out of cash.

I request the GOI / RBI to get resolution to this cash shortage problem at the earliest as I understand the
confidentiality and importance of this sudden demonetization decision.

Thanks in anticipation more

my suggestion would be to use - paytm or some ewallet for your expenses. It will help our country to go online with our payments more
It looks like the Employee in Currency printing press do not want to work that is print enough cash of various denomination to be made available .Or maybe its Govt instruction to restrict cash till 30 December 2 016 and after that all system will be back to square one.If not I feel Urujit Patel may be a Gujrati and his geographical idea of India is India Starts from Gujrat and ends in New Delhi after that there is No India.ITS HIGH TIME PRINT CURRENCY IN TONS AND TONS AND BRING THE ECONOMY TO NORMAL ANOTHER 18 DAYS LEFT FOR D DAY. - MAKE THE CURRENCY PRODUCTION AS IMPORTANT AS D DAY OF NORMANDY LANDING IN WORLD WAR 2. more
The biggest risible part of anti corruption is that some anti corruption faces are themselves biggest corruption mongers and are puppets of PSU bank babus. They every now and then come to their aid, even in public statements. Some Financial consultants eat their diet of this filth only. Does any PSU bank babus in civic areas take bribe from their own hands??????? No. Then how? Its only the consultants as brokers who are roped in by either of the 2 parties i.e. potential borrower or the Bank babu, though the intention of the babu i sto broker his share via them by fooling potential borrowers and make simian sharing. This way dishonest trend has been existing and babu is safe forever and ever. ICAI should do justice with its own members by giving them respectful lives rather than that of brokers of such petty Bank babus. Want evidences? We have them all. But its shameful for all Indians. CVC has been intimated with Hon'ble SC in loop. more
Hello! Rajesh Iyer (Citizen) , Sir , The ICICI is a private sector Bank . What about your A/c with any Nationalized Bank ? Don't you have one with any Government Bank ? Today , I visited the Dena Bank of the Public Sector . I noticed short que and a customer withdrawing Rs. 40,000 /- vide Cheque and myself withdrew Rs. 20,000 /- easily without any hassles . I also experimentally called on another Dena Bank ATM situated at a long distance of walk of 30 minutes and found to my surprise no que at all to withdraw . Don't get panic . Try tomorrow . Try other ways and means . more
In fact this may be used as an opportunity since liquidity in the banks may swell and the available finances may be used for development in a responsible way, giving loans to well secured businesses, against appropriate assets. Economy may be allowed to grow freely. It may not be thwarted by forcing property prices / Asset values/ down, giving losses to the business community, as any pressure on the economy may take its toll on devlopment, growth and employment as well as government revenues. more
