Careful if getting vaccinated at private hospitals

Most hospitals have excess vaccine stocks near expiration date and a few even expired so they are selling them at discounts, forcing them on villages via CSR etc.

If u or family/friend goes to get a dose at a private hospital ask for an image of the vial with expiry date. more

It is possible only in our country! Why not the concerned authorities are of the respective State governments are immediately raiding those hospitals and sealing them for ever in addition to filing criminal cases against the owners. Practically, keeping a check over such crimes by public or the recipients of the vaccines is quite difficult as each vial contains several doses. more
All expired medicines can be returned to the manufacturing company if purchased from the right source. This is standard practice in this trade. The Govt. & Private hospitals should go all out to inject the vaccines to the needy people as still a large population has not got the 2nd doze. more
How shameful of these hospitals. The more I see the more I feel that Indians do not have scruples. They will even destroy a person's life without feeling guilty. Why is the government not making a hue and cry over it, just like it makes for other smaller issues???? more

With day to day monitoring (Number of vials supplied, used and people vaccinated etc) of vaccination by private hospital is maintained, possibility of use of out dated vials could be reduced. In case of any complaint, proper auditing could expose the malpractice. more
