Campaign against Indigo move

So Indigo says As per our revised policy effective nov 14, 2018, all seats will be chargeable for web check-in. Alternatively, you may check-in at the airport for free. Seats will be assigned as per the availability.

Can local circles and consumer affairs ministry please take this up and get Suresh Prabhu the aviation minister to intervene?? more

Same with banks. They introduced ATM cards to reduce queues at counters. Now they charge for using the same Electronics is boon to them. more  
First you start electronic system facility to ease the work and then you penalise the pax for same.This is wrong. more  
Charging for online check-in is unethical and unjustified. Similarly, charging a lump sum as conveyance for all online booking is also unethical and irrational. These practices must be stopped forthwith. If not, the government should intervene and force all the air lines to refrain from penalising the passengers for online booking. more  
As rightly pointed out by Shree Virmani, it is surprising that instead of giving incentive to those adopting digital means, the airline is actually punishing the passengers. Against the manpower required to serve the passengers physically, the digital check in should be cheaper and also convenient for passengers. In fact it is a win win situation . more  
And they have changed the policy of gate closure to 25 minutes before departure from the earlier 15 mins. It looks like a completely wrong decision. No web check in means long queues at the counter, no express security, even without checkin baggage. And on top of all of this, have to reach the gate earlier. best option is to boycott the airlines and send them a strong message. Also, let us start writing to DGCA to look into this as a priority. more
