CABLE & DTH TV & INTERFEARANCE BY TRAI

I have seen post on TRAI from Mr. M. M. Gupta & others.
All problems created with old fully working system for which TRAI is solely responsible.
Even they are putting misleading advertisement on TV to justify their wrong doing & making end-user suffer.
Why they are doing ? Can any one reply ?
At old rate all channels were available for Rs. 3600 per YEAR.
Now the end user are forced to pay double. Why ?
Can any tell TRAI to stop this mess created by force ? more

This move of TRAI by any standard is preposterous. I read someone saying money saved by picking
only channels viewed. Creating your list is time consuming and cumbersome. When media is relied on as a source of information restricting choices will be counter productive . Maybe this issue is not serious enough to draw the attention of power contenders. With the current reach hardly anyone who does not view. Huge disgruntled masses can turn tables for political leaders aspiring to rule the country. more  
I was paying Rs. 362/- pm. Now I have to pay Rs. 757/- pm + GST if I continue with the existing channels. I don't think PM or his secretariat is aware of this. TRAI has done this in connivance with DTH service providers. This may be one of the issue of public anger and may affect in the general election. more  
After migration to TRAI scheme I chose the required channels liberally.
Still my monthly charges came down from Rs. 470 t0 Rs. 360 only.
You have to choose carefully.
I like the TRAI scheme which has given me freedom to select only required
channels.

There are about 400 channels. We were paying Rs.3600 to 10,000 per year depending upon the chanel provider. We were using only about 15 chanels normally. Many of us complained that why we should pay for other chanels we donot view. That is the mistake we made without knowing how the chanels and the provider operates. What customer views is not interesting to him. For the number of customers he has, he has to make his money to survive. He continue to charge 3600 for you as per old rates to see 400 chanels or the same 3600 as per new rates for 15 chanels. Let us see how TRAI looks at this. more  
It clearly reflects that all those who are poor in Mathematics are sitting in one office and how these are disconnected from the ground level realities. more
