BSNL Broadband connection. Not getting proper service
I am living in Arakonam of Tamilnadu state. In my house Internet c is BSNL Broadband. For the last 3 months Internet connection is being broken frequently so I can not download any thing.
Due to the fail of broadband, I have simultaneously using mobile data also, even though it is costly.
Now a days, when broadband connection is lost, mobile data connection is also gone.
Filed complaint through phone as we as face to face and over customer care.
But no solution for the problem so far.
Detailed enquiry reveal that BSNL outsourced tower maintenance and the agency taken the maintenance, is not acting well. Nobody is insisting them to attend repairs and replacement in time.
Learned members may kindly suggest a remedy or local circles may take up the matter with authorities concerned.

BSNL modems are the main source of problems. Those varies from Huwai to Starlite, nokia , Simence or any unknown Band brand. They don't have required drivers,working stability. I found that most of problems disappear if 1. Splitter is proper & good. 2 Wiring/copper connections/ connectors is proper and not rusted. 3. Modem drivers are proper. 4. PC settings are correct. BSNL will not help to resolve problems in your domain. Their DNS servers keep changing, their support persons also don't know. If you have DNS problem, use google DNS which is 8.8.8.8 for Primary & 8.8.4.4 for alternet. Most sites will work with Google DNS. There is alternative of OPEN DNS also. At present I am using BSNL DNS 218.248.241.2 and Alternet DNS 218.218.255.211 which is working fine for me. There is one more problem recently, Sites are redirected to mail.bsnl.in which creates problems with down load and session sensitive sites. more

Firstly have you installed an proper paid anti virus,Trojan horse protection , worm protection anti malware protection WiFi guard financial security guard are just a few security tips . Secoundly do you have the complaint letters either printed or documents sent though e mail or sms ? Thirdly you could write to Honor'able PM of India to The PMO Office do upload the complaint documents that you have they do give an reply . Foutrthly You could yes social media Twitter Facebook or Start an petition in Change .org Lastly you could go to consumer court with complaint documents & letters sent to PM MODI Ji But remember court cases takes money and time as we as an nation have few judges appointed by judicial commotion . Dear sir, Which Antivirus you are using ? Is passwors is save in modem or you have to dial ? My suggestin is to use own private ADSL modem like D-Link which work better. Although BSNL support is slugish to respond I am using for Last 10 Years Flawlessly. There are minor problems which are taken care normally. The only major problem we faces when Reliance broke Optical Fibers of BSNL there were 2 days trouble. When you complain, BSNL only check at their office. You will have to check & take action at your end. I do have problem with BSNL Moblie but Broadband is good enough as per plan. more

What I have seen practically is that (may be) the Govt. is taking a view "chaltha hei, chalne do" .. so long as it runs, let it run. There are people within BSNL who help the competing internet/mobile facilitators! My experience is that when I had problems with my internet, I contacted each one of the BSNL officers, in the Taluk, District and State; non one bothered to listen to my complaint! Finally I made a detailed complaint to all concerned in the Ministry and for that matter even the most reverred, hon'ble Cabinet Minister Shri Ravi Sankar Prasad, about 6 months back and the result is : TOTAL NEGLECT from each one of them. Finally frustrated with the state of affairs, I surrendered the INTERNET FACILITY and (for their relief) I switched over to a private internet provider! I think now all are happy! THIS IS THE STATE OF AFFAIRS! I think one Mr. Narendra Modi alone can not improve the situation, every one should stand behind him. I wonder how much time it will take to find such a situation. But I am sure as of now, we are not yet matured for that!!!! more
