bsnl broad band: I am one of the sufferers of broad band.Their charges are very heavy and their service is very poor. Sometimes for 3 days I dont get internet.I was back from US in Oct 15 and so far the failure of internet is on an average 3 to 4 days in a week. They are very prompt to enquire over land line how is the internet and did the service is ok and is your internet now working. Service is poor and needs to be revamped.
MY SURPRISE IS WHEN OTHER SERVICE PROVIDERS ARE ABLE TO GIVE BETTER INTERNTET FACILITY WHY BSNL CANNOT WHO PROVIDE THE INTERNET ETC. TO THESE COMPANIES?
THE NUMBER OF STAFF IN BSNL IS MORE AND THEIR SALARIES ARE ALSO MORE. A LINE MAN GETS AROUND RS.40000-
PLEASE ADVISE THE TELECOM MINISTER TO REVAMP THE DEPARTMENT AND PROVIDE GOOD SERVICE. more

The mobile internet users are generally getting reminders before the expiery of the current GPRS plan. But The BSNL is regularjy irregular in sending reminders but very prompt in not continuing if the plan period is over. The broad band with land line bill is generated after 15th of the following month. If the bill is generated and message sent the customers they will know the trend of usage and plan usage accordingly. more  
Till the employment is secured, no one bothers about the service. Day are not far off when the BSNL will not find any consumer, just like the primary school and english medium school. more  
BSNL Broad Band services are cheaper than those of the private players. However, service are worst and even frequent complaints do not make any difference. Complaints relating to broad band services are also allotted to the telephone line men and on the third day the complaint is treated as resolved and a message is sent to the recorded mobile phone putting the subscribers into dilemma with the continued snags in the internet services. This is the state of affairs of a state owned 1st rowed company of the country. more
