BSES billing

BSES Yamuna is billing its customers with the amount of fixed charge as per the sanctioned load plus the charges of units consumed as per rates. When the customer is using the electricity the bill should be made with actual usage then why fixed charges are levied as per sanctioned load which increase the bill amount very high which is unjustified. If customer is not using electricity then minimum charges should be levied. Hope the concerned authorities will look into the unjustified practice billing of BSES Yamuna & sets the billing process right. more

In the name of fixed charges huge amount is being collected. Huge scam is going on. The properties which have been sealed r paying hefty charges. There is no Govt. Crores of rupees r being extracted by enhancing the load even if u have for afay more
Entire billing by BSES is ruthless exploitation by a monopolistic organization. It is sad that the State which claims to be socialist state claiming to be a democracy is a party to it for the benefit of WHO? Need no spelling. There are several charges in the bills besides security deposit. Payment of interest is of no solace. It only conveys that the management has not invested any capital of its own. The establishments like PAC, CAD CVC are displaying blind eyes. This is a fit case for judicial review by Supreme Court not by PIL but by class action . This will eliminate political approach to the exploitation by the government. I agree with you and it should be agreed. One more point, which most of us have not observed i.e. recently the authorities have befooled people. They have increases the fixed charges enormously from Rs 75/ kW to Rs 175/kW and reduced the tarrif /unit. For first 200 units from Rs 4 to Rs 3 and next 200 units from Rs 5.75 to Rs 4 and in this process - fixed charges are increased, irrespective for consumption. Overall the Delhi Govt subsidy has tremendously reduced as tarrif has been reduced but overall bill has increased. Govt wants to take credit for reduction in tarrif but bill increases, befooling the people. This aspect should be spread, so that cleverness of Govt is understood by people. more

I fully agree. BSES.Yamuna is looting the customers in the name of fixed charges. I requested the BSES.Yamuna to reduce our sanctioned load from 6.0 KW to 2.0 KW, but was slapped with a fairly lengthy procedure. Earlier, till June.2018, I was residing in the jurisdiction of Tata Power and it reduced our sanctioned load from 5.0 KW to 2.0 KW without even asking for it. BSES.Yamuna is refusing to provide even an audience to listen to our grievances in this regard. more
