Bribery in GST

It is extrmely shocking to see that GST official are asking for bribe without any reason. A case came to light in known person of mine from uttar pradesh whereby a department official went to check there records and threaten them to charge them for contravention of provision of law . I asked them from whose authority they are were empowered to visit the client place whereby the return is filed and tax has been paid.
Moreover in case of refund of tax on account of export we have to pay 6% of value as bribe.
It is shocking to see such kind of Malparctises. Is this is so called "aache din" more

Irrespective of the fact that the officers are from State GST or Central GST, They must have authorisation letter from higher authorities. And they are bound to show the authorisation. If they don't have , complain to higher authorities. more

LESS SAID OR MORE SAID THE BETTER. If one does not pay the bribe for nothing, the harassment and crime of sorts will be resorted to make the victim surrender. We have bad political governance where bribe is the well rooted evil from top to bottom. Exceptions are rare and difficult to find. more
Isnt your friend dare enough to file a complaint with the higher authorities? more
