Big Basket not passing gst benefits
Nandini Ghee 1ltr pack MRP is 610 as per KMF but on big basket app it says 622. profiteering?

It looks like the manufacturer (KMF) has done the right thing by reducing the announced MRP (to Rs 610) for the 1 L ghee pouch. There is at least one reliable retailer listing that MRP and selling price correctly (BigBasket listing Rs 610 MRP and Rs 566 selling). The complaint of seeing MRP Rs 622 suggests either: (a) a mis‑listing on BigBasket for that location/state, or (b) a difference due to regional pricing/packaging/transport cost or older stock. Without uniforming evidence across all states/shops, I cannot conclude definitively that BigBasket is profiteering. But the presence of inconsistent MRPs is a cause for concern and merits verification. more

All items Purchased by Shopkeeper before 22-9--25 , he has paid GST. Hence he will not give rebate on these stocks. Any new buying by him after 22-9-25, he will give GST rebate. As per Shopkeeper, this will take around one month. It means your November buying will have real GST benefit. more

If a retailer has purchased and stored any item before 22.09.25, how he can passon the GST rate cut ? It will take sometime to see impact of reduced gst at retailer' end. more

This GST reduction is just an election gimmick. No one will reduce the prices. It is just a stunt that prices will be reduced. After the elections in a few states, the GST slabs will be revised and will be back to the old status. So don't worry, nothing is going to get cheaper. It is just only on paper. more
