Big Basket misleading consumer

Friends, this company and app big basket is giving highly misleading ad. I am sharing this as LC is conducting polls in this issues

It basically says its giving 47% off on many products. After u fill up your basket, it charges you. See screenshots

Then when the products come u find out the 47% off was only on 1 qty and rest were sold at full prices.

Clear case of misleading consumer and financially cheating them. Please book them. more

First, the second screenshot shows on every item 47% on 1800 bill. Do you know what that means? Second, under the new Consumer Protection Act, you can sue them including their Brand ambassador Shah Rukh Khan also, I think. more
Really, the ecommerce companies are really misleading and they donot hesitate to exploit the customers. more
I would like to highlight my experience with BBDaily. An undertaking of Big Basket. They came to my residential complex. Told lies about special scheme only for us. Promised free bag, refund of delivery charges. I subscribed. Later on it turned out that part of the offer was not true. There was no refund of delivery charges. The free bag was also delivered to me after 1 month of emails where I have heard super lies including 1. Me getting 3 bags 2. I had received a faulty bag that I asked for changing 3. BB Daily doesn't have a Compensation policy! I had asked for customer service and different people from Social media team, marketing team called up telling lies that they are customer service representatives. When I threatened them with legal action, then the Retention team calls up. Again same non sense pitches. Its been a month and a half. I have decided to take it to the Consumer court not for the money but for teaching them a lesson! more
