AYUSH Minister's statement

I have no idea if the minister and his team is in this AYUSH circle. The minister yesterday made a statement which to me was in bad taste where he said that all doctors prescribing allopathy are anti-nationals. this was in times of india.

though i don't necessarily subscribe too much to allopathy, it is still the most researched.

we would appreciate it more if from time to time the minister and his team shared good information about ayush. one yoga day a year doesnt cut it. more

Ayurveda's know how is not with us now but it is a very fast and permanent method of recouping. Its true that Research was not done but if we can do and tell abt what we know and gather the information like Aaji's batawa; Dhanvantary and Upnishada. We can do a lot.Time is still there but Action is demanded. more
Instead of criticizing Doctors in such an uncharitable way The Minister could talk about what he is doing in his own department which does not acknowledge any letters sent to him or the secretary Ayush. An streamlined Ayush could do a lot of good to ailing people but the Minister has solicited unnecessary controversy. Dr G L Moondra more
I do appreciate your views Suresh Rai. Ayurveda had a glorious past and the same was lost due to the mean minded approach of hiding its reach and ambit by one practitioner from another, whereas allopathy flourished due to continued research and sharing of its results and knowledge. For emergent situations, it is accepted by large, one has to approach English Medicine, notwithstanding many exceptional solutions on many aspects can be had in Ayurveda. Though Ayurveda is age old system of treatment but Allopathy also can not be demeaned. Because of quick results Allopathy has gained more acceptability. However ultimate treament and solution lies with Ayurveda. We should respect all methods of treatment. Ultimate purpose is to get relief from the disease. more
