Sarma ji, I am suffering from diabetes for more than 25 years now. Presently my blood sugar control over 6 months is good. My suggestions for management of blood sugar are: 1 Walk for more than 30 minutes daily. Brisk walk is recommended. A 20 minute walk will not benefit you much. The brisk walking for MORE than 30 minutes is very helpful in the management of blood sugar. 2 Diet Management: This is another important aspect. Consult Expert, read on internet about recommended diet for diabetic patient. Reduce intake of FATS and Sugar. 3 Regulate your medicine by MEDICAL advice only. Keep a record of blood sugar test done by you for reference by your Diabetologist. more
I agree with Mr. I J Jain - please consult a good diabetologist in your area. Speak to the doctor about Somoji effect - s/he may advice delay in your dinner time or night food intake if your measurements show this as the possible cause. more
There is a Early morning syndrome called SOMOJI EFFECT. Around two to four am early in the morning you sugar might go down say around 90-120 your brain will activate the Sugar stored in the liver to be released .Unless you take some food at that time this effect will not stop. I have studied this pattern. Discuss with your doctor and adjust timing of the evening tablet in take. study yourself by taking reading in the night after 2 hrs dinner, then at 12,2,4,6 8 on two days with out any in take of food. go to the doctor and discuss on the readings. He will be able to judge when the tablet is working at its peak more
