Anti Hindi Politics - 10 PM debate in Republic TV.

1. My sharing did not contain/mention any Constitutional/ Legal application of Language. It is only based and clarified the useful purpose of common Language to understand, express and share the livelihood to access the liberal rights of Article 19 to move and or reside to achieve Adequate means of livelihood contemplated including the basic Education please. 2. Coming to constitution, Article 343 was on 26th Jan 1950 itself recognized HINDI as the Official language of Indian Union. This is different . 3. Schedule 8 notified 6 Indian Languages and added in 1967 and '92 another 12 languages which are in general more in use of daily life and Books . This is different and still in practice and will be in practice . 4. Article 344 is also comprehensively self explanatory and different. 5. Articles 345 specifies Hindi or the State Language as Official Language in the State . This is different. Articles 346 and 347 are self explanatory and different from above . Article 348 to 350 are also different and self explanatory. 6. Article 351 mandates : ' It shall be the duty of the Union to promote the spread of the Hindi Language , to develop it so that it may serve as a medium of expression for all the elements of the composite culture of India and to secure its enrichment by assimilating without interfering with its genius, the forms, style and expression used in Hindustani and in the other Languages of India specified in the Eighth Schedule, and by drawing wherever necessary or desirable , for its vocabulary, primarily on Sanskrit and secondarily on other Languages '. THUS, ARTICLE 343 AND 351 ARE BASED FUNDAMENTALLY ON THE CONCEPT OF COMMON LANGUAGE THAT IS MORE IN PRACTICE TO BE HELPFUL FOR CITIZEN IN ACCESSING EASILY THE CIVIC PROVISIONS OF CONSTITUTION that contemplated in Articles 19 and 41 . Legal and Litigant views of Religion shall not come in the way of these two Fundamental Civic provisions please. more  

The USSR which was one of the two superpowers of 20th Century fell apart like a pack of cards because Jo Stalin thrust Russian language and nationhood on what was essentially a very diverse nation. I had lived for a few months near Kiev which was the capital of Ukraine state in 1970-71 at the height of USSR's power but even then there was quite an undercurrent of Ukrainian nationalism which one could see in the matter of shop signs and street names. Today Russia and Ukraine are fighting a bitter war as separate countries. Hope the language fanatics of India do not cause us to end up in that situation. BJP should take heed and not take the side of the fanatics trying to thrust Hindi forcibly on South India or for that matter in Bengal, Punjab, Maharashtra or elsewhere. . End of quote So let those who are ignorant of these facts understand the legal and official status of Hindi vs the other Indian languages. A single language is not essential for the unity of this large and diverse country. Nor a single language guarantees unity taking the example of how Andhra and Telengana cannot stand the sight of each other, though they essentially speak the same language Telugu. I had posted in this forum a few days back on how BJP can make headway in Tamil Nadu. One of the main points was that the party should adopt a multi-lingual/multicultural approach so that it is not just perceived as a Hindi heartland party trying to impose Hindi down unwilling throats. That post elicited 0 responses because people in this forum hear only what THEY want to hear. Tamil is a very old language which is still in day-to-day use unlike Sanskrit of similar vintage. The religious literature of Kamban's Ramayana, the Saivite and Vaishnavite literature of around 10th Century AD are pillars on which the Hindu faith in South India grew up and prospered. Even Finance Minister Nirmala Seetharaman started her budget speech with a centuries old Tamil verse of how a king should tax the subjects (not that she quite followed that wisdom in her budget). Let us not lose all trhat heritage to satisfy the ignorant few. more  

Tamilnadu since beginning had been keeping the State from Union mandates of Constitution. HINDI united majority People of several Regions for understanding and working together for the Freedom Fight and lead the Congress towards the Goal of Independence. Leading Livelihood enjoying the UNITE PROVISIONS OF Article 19 for 41 for which Education of Articles 45, 46 and 15 (4) is the Prime factor and must.. This is why States were formed at the basic concept of common Language. HINDI WAS PROMOTED AND PROGRAMMED AS THE NATIONAL LANGUAGE TO SUPPORT THE PEOPLE OF ALL PLACES enabling them to access the Liberal Rights of 19 purpossed for gaining Adequate Means of Livelihood . General Public of Tamilnadu had been set deprived of their Constitutional Rights thus KEEPING AWAY THEIR CITIZENS FROM FUNDAMENTAL RIGHTS. HINDI SHALL CONTINUE AS NATIONAL LANGUAGE OF INDIANS while English shall be subjected as the International Language. It is the ground fact that Majority Citizens know HINDI when compared to ENGLISH and is why HINDI SHALL SCORE AS THE NATIONAL LANGUAGE. Further , HINDI is a mix of Many Regional Languages WHILE ENGLISH LACKS THIS VITAL IMPORTANCE. Country know of : Tamilnadu oriented Smuggler Veerappan ; LTTE that betrayed SRILANKA ; LTTE supporters that indulged in Killing A Prime Minister of the Country.
