Another side of our Society ( Misuse of more power that women are given)
I am not sure where we are going but here are 3 incident came to recently.

A friend of my brother got married before almost a year. Wife barely be with him for 2 weeks and went to her parents. And told him to pay 10L INR and get divorced or else they will sue him and her family in family court for domestic violence.
After mental harassment for month they were ready to pay 10L to girl for divorce, girl and her family increased money and now they are asking for 30L wow.

A friend of mine had same situation. He got married for almost 6 months and then his in laws started interfering that couple's life. When he told her about that girl left and went back to her parents.
She started loving other boy and asked friend to pay 5L if he wants divorce or she will sue for domestic violence. She did that and family of my friend had to stay in police station for couple of days.
He paid money and gave him divorce. Wow she got 5L as she was loving someone else.

A relative of mine got married before many years. Bride be there for 5-6 years and then went back to parents. Now she is there from almost 6 years. Boy asked for divorce and she is not ready to give. She is in love with someone else in her village but not ready to give divorce to him and asked for monthly amount that supports her (to love with someone else)
There are many such cases. My questions are where we are going?
Is this our culture?
Are women given more power that they are misusing them? more
