Airtel post paid plans - bangalore

Airtel has hiked its post paid plan in Bangalore from Rs. 249 (5 gb of data) to 299 (despite a net profit of 759 crore), pre tax. Add the tax and the amount would go up by about Rs. 70 i.e 369. The plan has unlimited calls and 30 gb of data (which I hardly use). The website of airtel shows a plan of 399 onwards.
Does airtel have a Rs. 199 plan? If so, how do I change to this? more

Post paid plans enjoy certain benefits, for which the service providers keeps the rate at higher side. Now most of the service providers have increased the rates. more
All the telecom companies are sailing in the same boat. They sell the pack with compulsory data 0.5 to 2 -5 gb. Common man rarely use the data but the companies are minting money. Quite often the validity is reduced and the rate is kept the same. This increases their profit by 15-20%. Rel Jio initially offered free connections/data for one year and captured a large share of business. Now they are charging rates at will. Their this dirty game killed other weak telecom companies and were closed. The bankers and investors lost their money. more
Dear All: I used to get a Rs.49/- plan for 28 days which used to give me Rs.38 talktime. Yesterday when I recharged they said the 49/- plan has been discontinued and there is only a Rs.79/- plan which gives Rs.64/- as talktime. My agent said blame "Modi" and not Air Tel????? I wonder why he said that. But we need to be prepared for looting by Tom, Dick and Harry. more
The revised Plan is profitable. Pl calculate. more
In airtel app, you will get to know all plans both under prepaid and post paid. As an individual, it is ideal to have prepaid plan which has more plans and choose as per your utility. more
Even prepaid which was minimum ₹ 45 is now ₹ 69. Obviously, profits will rise greatly. Things are not transparent. Why validity of 28 days & not 30/31 days. This is exactly how few decades ago consumer grocery etc packets were of odd figures like 65 grams, 89 grams etc. The reason was to confuse the consumer so that they can’t compare the prices of companies selling similar products easily. more
