The call-centres are outsourced staff and once you speak to them they forward your request to the company, which takes time. The outsourced tele-callers get a commission on retaining the customer, so they will again start calling you and try to convince you to continue using the services. If you agree, then you will again get the bill and the disconnection request will stand cancelled. Whenever the connection is disconnected you will have to pay the bill till that date.
So it is better that you visit the outlet / showroom for the disconnection. more
