Airlines taking advantage yet again

Thought some time back some rule came by aviation dept that airlines cannot charge more than a set amount for airfare.

I want to share that airlines are charging 13000-20000 for a 1 way flight from chandigarh to delhi. Jet, Vistara Spicejet taking full advantage and no one stopping them.

Can consumer dept look into this?? more

When, oh when, can we in India finally begin to live a life without having to be surprised nay shocked by such developments as posted by Mr N Sharma? Do governmental statements carry any weight at all? Two days ago we read in the TOI that the local government is going to suppress "surge pricing" by taxis. Man, why can they not extend the regulation to any kind of transportation? It would've made life sooooooo simple. Singapore has set a fine example; all aspects are covered before the government of Singapore makes a decision for implementation. And, believe my experience of having lived in that country for over a dozen years, those decisions are without any loopholes. more

Dynamic pricing by airlines and now railways, is a blatant example of violation of MRTP Act. If for a higher price of travel ticket you not are provided with matching extra benifit, it's a cheating and tantamount to taking undue advantage of your situation. Government must take action to stop this. more
