Advice sought

Dear Dr Madam,
I am prof Ashok Sr citizen manging with allopathic medicines for sugar, pressure and now low sodium count. I am not getting sufficient sleep at night. Please guide me dear doctor for which I will be ever grateful

Doctors & medicines will not cure you; Switch to vegan diet, adopt intermittent fasting & become active physically. more  
Do not stop your Diabetes medicine, or BP Medicine. For sodium be careful iest it increases your BP. Do some ting positive or read Geeta or some such scripture if you cannot sleep. Do not fret or brood for sleep. A bit of sleeplessness is not unusual at advanced ages. Switch of your TV, Mobile etc 2 hrs before sleep time. Can you write book. I donot know what was your subject of teaching. But can suggest more if you communicate. 09990214792 more

If you do work that pleases you, You tax your senses seeing/ listening, Taking warm bath or clean your eyes with cold water, I beleive you get good sleep. more  
Thanks to Mr Anil Sharma. His post is very informative with practical advice. From my personal experience I find morning walk and Pranayam keeps me fit to a large extent active and healthy. Yes midicine prescribed by the Doctors have to be taken as per advise. more
