Adulterated Food

Now a days one can see Bananas sold in the market are yellowish in color. Are bananas being grown in color yellow? Or its being treated with harmful chemicals to get the same ripen faster.
During olden days we used to see bananas in green color and then its allowed to ripe naturally.
If some one has idea on the treatment of banana process, better share the same for knowledge. more  

Banana ripening is a damn easy process. Not to rely on sophisticated chemicals. Get hydrated calcium carbonate (sunnambu in Tamil - ie white in color used along with betelleaf for chewing) apply in the nose of each banana and close it air tight using sacks. Next day it gets ripened. No harmful practice. Traditionally followed one. more

This is because, everyone is liking the corporate style life. Earn, earn, earn more, but they don't live anymore, as people are not planning to live. Check what you are doing. Earning or earning to live & planning accordingly. more  
To avoid adulteration in food items should Govt launch schemes to develop areas near by consumption markets which will increase its freshness plus less use of preservation material and less carriage charges more  
There is very simple process. You have to put down bananas into water for five seconds and take it out. Bananas will ripe naturally. There is no need to wrap bananas with clothes or papers. more
