Action on Issues Appreciated

It is indeed great to hear from CEO of FSSAI that something will be done on this matter as raised by Sarita. I hope actions will be taken by Govt on many of these issues. A lot of good discussion has taken place on this platform and thanks all who shared view on expiry date of products sold on ecommerce sites. Hope FSSAI will act on this issue too. more

I wish if Sarita's message posted for discussion could be threaded with the ones here initiated by Anshu Saxena for continuity and easy location of the issue on the Local Circle. more
Very good discussion. Should NGOs be party to such initiatives? SD Kulkarni On 6 Mar 2017 10:56, "Anshu Saxena" wrote: > more
Thanks Anshu. Hope for best more
It is also suggested that proper regular checking is done on all the fruit stalls. Last week we bought a kg Apple by paying 140 but on an advise from one of our relatives we found these apples are covered with wax like thing. We tried all apples and all have the same object applied all over. Like wise there are now ripen mangoes available in the market. It is very clear that it is done by applying some chemical or liquid. This applies to Bananas also. Can the authorities take some action against these things which are happening every where in the city and suburbs. If we go to the wholesale market at Vashi or Kalyan, you can see shop owners spraying a liquid on the mangoes. it is happening openly and still nobody bothers to take action on it. more
Sarita , thanks for bringing the issue on behalf of all of us. more
