My fathers policy was active since I checked online in Bajaj Allianz with a NAV value of 1,50,000/- but when I claimed the same after submitting all the required documents except the policy paper which my father lost instead of which I submitted an affidavit in Bajaj Allianz office. They accepted all the documents and acknowledged it but when I started following up they said that the policy is not valid since the one time premium has not been received because the cheque has been bounced.I questioned them ,that if the cheque has been bounced then why the policy runned for this long years and there was no question of discontinuing the premium since it was a single premium.I have got no valid answer from them and the case remained unsolved till now.I proceeded Ombudsment Dept but still now I have no response after almost 1 year is passing by.I am in a mess and dont know what should I do next. more

My mothers also had a policy with Bajaj allianz. When I claimed for it then they send a guy for verification. He asked for bribe. We paid him too and it has been about one month that there is no response from there end. I submitted all the documents and all the installments were paid on time more
Issue a Regd. Post notice giving 15 days time by referring to all the date. If no response is received, please refer the matter to consumer court. more
u bounced a cheque then u have the audacity to claim for what u didnt pay for? who is the bigger thief here? more
As observed by Mr Sankar Mukherjee, if premium has not been paid or Premium cheque got bounced, there is no question of existence of an Insurance Policy. Kindly ensure this aspect, before you contemplate on any action. more
It is not clear how in the absence of the original policy document and the premium payment receipt you are making a case at all. It is not clear what documents were submitted by you, because the only documents that need to be presented to the Insurance company for claims is the policy, premium receipt and of course the death certificate in the event of death of the insured. more
